Let me introduce you to one of the newest pianists on our roster, Adam Janjigian. Born and raised in Boston, Adam Janjigian has performed professionally for over 20 years. After touring internationally for 3 years on various cruise ships, Adam returned to Boston in 2011 and has since performed regularly at the region’s top jazz venues including the Beehive, Beat Brasserie, Top of the Hub and the Acton Jazz Cafe. Rosie’s Place is an organization that is dear to my heart. Thank you to AE Events for asking us to participate in this year’s Gala. And thank you to Andrew Stern’s Duo (pictured here) for providing the music, along with Grooversity who played percussion as guests were entering the Cyclorama. I hope they raised more money than they ever imagined!!
We are so proud and thrilled to be affiliated with The Children and Athletes Regenerative Medicine (CHARMED) Foundation. With Classic Yellow providing the music, they proudly honored legendary Boston Red Sox slugger David ‘Big Papi’ Ortiz as a co-recipient of the foundation’s first-ever Courage Award. Ortiz received the award alongside his seven-year-old friend, Maverick Schutte, who has inspired both the nation and Ortiz with his courageous battle against a congenital heart condition and lung defect.
Ron Poster’s specialties, both as a solo and ensemble performer, cover a range of styles, including classic American Songs, Popular Top 40’s, Swing, Blues, Rock and R&B. He is the regular piano player in Bravo at the Museum of Fine Arts and Lucky’s Lounge, and is the official organist for the Boston Bruins. Ron played with the 80’s pop band Missing Persons.
